NVQs in Social Care
An NVQ in Social Care allows you to develop the skills needed to do your job, whilst at the same time helping you to fill in any training gaps and gain valuable qualifications.
NVQs are work-based qualifications that relate to your everyday role and demonstrate your ability to do your job. A trained assessor will evaluate your ability to carry out various aspects of your job - meaning that there are no formal examinations and you simply gain your qualifications 'on-the-job'.

The NVQ in Health and Social Care
The NVQ in Health and Social Care is nationally recognised and has been specifically designed to meet the changing needs of today's social care environment. You can adapt your own NVQ depending on your needs, allowing you to concentrate on the Health and Social Care skills that you use most often in your job.
NVQ in Leadership and Management for Care Services
NVQ in Leadership and Management for Care Services is a Level 4 NVQ aimed at managers, deputies and assistants who hold managerial responsibilities within care services. It does not matter if your experience is with adults or children, as this qaulification is suitable for both. People who undertake this qualification are typically required to be in a role which has responsibility for managing activities, budgets, people and other resources.
