Nurse Practitioner (male) required for a one-off job in Riyadh
Pulse International is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a world-renowned, British company, working in Riyadh.
This is an extensive and extended role within the healthcare team and encompasses a wide variety of nursing disciplines, in particular:
- General Practice
- Emergency Care
- Occupational Health
- Health Visiting
- Community Care
Working within the scope of professional practice and accountability the successful candidate will utilize his professional skills and protocols to provide and be responsible for the following:
- Independent Nurse Practitioner Role – exercising professional judgement and making accountable decisions, applying clinical knowledge and critical analysis to provide examination, assessment, diagnosis, treatment and referral of patients in accordance with the required guidelines and protocols.
- Provide a Triage system within the practice.
- Dispense medication.
- Supply and stock control of medicines.
- Undertake chronic disease management (ie for Diabetes, Asthma).
- Employee Occupational Health Screening.
- Perform Diagnostic Tests and a range of treatments, assist with minor surgery.
- Immunisation and Vaccination Service.
- 24 Hour Immediate Emergency Service – emergency telephone triage / emergency care/treatment/referral/transfer.
- Escort for emergency ambulance transfer.
The above is just a taster – we are looking for someone who has all the professional skills and is able to work in an extended role while communicating effectively with both service-users and colleagues.
The post involves driving between different locations and, as women don't drive in Saudi Arabia, the post is restricted to male candidates (Sex Discrimination Act, Sect 7G).
