Job Description
Pulse International is looking for a Consultant Radiologist for the Breast Care Services of a District Health Board in the South Island.
The successful candidate will have a strong interest in women's health and be able to report films/ images in mammography and undertake and report on diagnostic and interventional procedures in mammography. Familiarity of breast screening programmes is desired but not essential.
The service has full digital radiology in fixed sites and analogue on mobile screening units. The service undertakes breast MRI, and full training can be given.
The hospital has a close relationship with the University of Otago Medical School and places great emphasis on it role as a teaching hospital. The post holder will be involved in the Registrar training programme.
