Pulse International is looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist for Paediatric Respiratory Care at a 181-bed, teaching hospital in the South Island.
Built in 2004 this is a secondary level base hospital which offers wide and varied experience for healthcare professionals of all disciplines. This is a newly-created post to promote and support self-management by children with respiratory problems and their families. The successful candidate will work closely with paediatricians, ward staff, GP's and practice and specialist nurses, facilitating and supporting the child's transition between hospital and primary care.
The successful candidate will have at least three years’ post-registration experience and a qualification in chronic disease management. He / she will have experience in teaching clients, families and health professionals.
