Pulse International is looking for a Consultant Ophthalmologist for a 181-bed base hospital in the South Island.
The hospital is ultra-modern, having been rebuilt in 2004, and has the latest in PACS digital radiology, MRI, CT and iSOFT patient management system. It’s located in a modern city offering easy access to outstanding leisure pursuits and a safe, caring community. The city also boasts a new, indoor velodrome and sporting complex, excellent schools and free tertiary education. Five top snowboarding / skiing destinations are a short drive away.
The successful candidate will join a friendly professional team. The workload is interesting and challenging and an attractive salary, relocation assistance and CME allowance are offered.
Candidates should have completed their specialist training and be eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
