Job Description
Pulse International is looking for a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of a private hospital in Auckland.
The 6-bed unit cares primarily for cardiac patients following coronary artery bypass grafts and valve replacements. It also looks after patiens following liver resections and neurological and orthopaedic procedures. 12-hour rostered shifts are worked Monday - Friday and the unit closes from Saturday afternoon - Monday morning with an on-call support service.
The hospital is part of the largest private hospital group in New Zealand and offers an attractive salary and benefits package. (An added bonus is to have the festive period off as the hosital closes over the Christmas.)
The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with at least two years’ ICU experience and eligible for registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
