Pulse International is looking for a Manager, Respiratory Services, who will be a Registered Respirator Therapist, for an exciting new healthcare project in Qatar.
Scheduled to open in 2013, the Sidra Medical and Research centre will offer the latest technology and equipment to meet world-class standards in patient care, medical education and biomedical research. There will be a sophisticated clinical and translational research programme, general adult medical and surgical services and specialty care for women and children. The centre will be a teaching venue for medical students at Weill Cornell Medical College - a branch of the prestigious Ivy League university in New York.
The Manager, Respiratory Services, will coordinate activities in this specialty and is responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures, patient care activities, unit operations and staff competency.
The successful candidate will be a Registered Respiratory Therapist, holding a Master’s degree in a related subject, with at least three years experience in a management role, OR will hold a Bachelor’s degree and have at least five years experience in a cardiopulmonary management role.
