Mechanical Engineer, Southampton, up to £38,000

As Mechanical Engineer you will be designing precision electro-mechanical assemblies for high tolerance engineering products. Your role will be working from specifications to modify a range of existing products to bespoke them for customer needs.

You will use 2D & 3D cad along with lateral thinking to achieve project goals and all your work will be undertake to ensure manufacture is achievable as easily as possible. Some customer liaison may be required to explore further needs of design.

As the ideal candidate you will have experience of precision mechanical design and will have experience of designing in 2D & 3D. Any engineering qualifications is an advantage along with experience of design for manufacture, and failure mode analysis.

As the succesful candidate you will receive a salary of up to £38,000 along with an excellent benefits package.
