Job Description

Pulse International is looking for a Consultant Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Surgeon for a 181-bed teaching hospital in the South Island.

The hospital, rebuilt in 2004, is a state-of-the-art facility providing healthcare to a population of 107,000 over a wide geographical area. This is a generalist ENT post with an on-call responsibility. Sub-specialty interests can also be developed and supported.

Located in the lower South Island, the area offers a wide range of recreational activities. It is home to two of New Zealand's national parks offering superb hiking and scenery, whilst internationally acclaimed fishing and a wide range of other outdoor pursuits are also available. Five top New Zealand snowboarding/skiing destinations are also within easy driving distance.

Candidates should have completed their specialist training and be eligible for vocational registration with Medical Council of New Zealand. The post offers an attractive remuneration package, relocation assistance and CME allowance.
