Our client is an 80 bedded specialist nursing facility offering 66 beds for care and treatment for physically disabled adults who may have a mental health diagnosis and demonstrate challenging behaviour. We provide intensive, highly flexible care programmes in safe, caring environments for residents with complex care needs that cannot be met within conventional care homes.
Our client has a hospital for 7 patients with mild to moderate learning disabilities, who may have mental health issues and challenging behaviour, and a 7 bed unit for female patients with severe and enduring mental health issues. They are looking to recruit an experienced Physiotherapist to manage patients with complex neurological needs using evidenced based and patient centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
The post holder will be educated to degree level with the CSP accreditation and HPC registration. The role holder will require at least 2-3 years experience, including some within a neuro-rehabilitation setting. The post holder will be responsible for coordinating all the activities of the therapy team.
