Job Description
Pulse International is looking for a Consultant General Physician for an ultra-modern hospital in the South Island.
This is a secondary level hospital, completely rebuilt in 2004, with first-class facilities.
The team of six physicians really does deal with it all - sharing equally in an acute roster, providing inpatient and outpatient services and pursuing specialty interests. You will have excellent peer support and a challenging and wide-ranging caseload.
The hospital is located in the south of New Zealand's South Island, surrounded by national parks. It's not a big city and the pace of life and lack of big city pressures reflect this. There’s an abundance of amenities, educational (primary through tertiary) facilities, arts scene and cultural life. Close by are Queenstown and Central Otago - summer and winter playgrounds whatever your passion.
You'll need to be eligible for registration in NZ and ideally have an interest in developing teaching opportunities.
