Job Description
Pulse International is looking for a Consultant Geriatrician for a 181-bed, secondary-level teaching hospital in the South Island.
The Rehabilitation Team, which sees over 400 patients per year, has two Consultants, two SHOs, forty nurses and nine allied health professionals. The ultra-modern, 40-bed Assessment, Treatment & Rehabilitation Unit is located alongside therapy services which include a gym and hydrotherapy pool.
The hospital is situated in a small, attractive city in the southern part of the South Island. It’s surrounded by wonderful outdoor amenities - winter and summer playgrounds on the doorstep - and then there is an excellent education system and plenty of arts and culture too.
The successful candidate will be eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
