Key Account Manager - Biologics & Performance Chemicals
Sal: £excellent basic plus great package
Location: Cambridge
Fantastic opportunity with a market leading organization for anybody who is looking to progress their career in scientific sales with a key player within the global market. As a scientist with excellent understanding of a range of Chemistry and Life Science disciplines, you will be working with key established accounts throughout the Cambridgeshire territory.
Key Duties:
- Sell a range of company products and services via face-2-face meetings with laboratory managers, research scientists and department heads.
- Develop strong relationship with customers, provide a high level of service, supporting technical queries and exceeding quality expectations
- Formulate and business plan for the territory and ensure sales and margins are achieved/exceeded.
- Identify and grow customer base
- Maximise sales opportunities within labs, departments and company's
- Meet (and exceed) KPI's
You will be an experienced scientist (Chemistry or Life Science), ideally graduated to PhD level (or with equivalent lab experience) who is highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills. You will have excellent communication skills at all levels (technician through to Management) and will have proven an ability to build mutually beneficial relationships with customers.
Candidates must be comfortable working to targets and will be able to demonstrate strong sales performance with a technical product range.
