PULSE Staffing has an opportunity available in Dorset for a Band 5 Accredited Checking/Medicines Management Technician
This is a great chance for an experienced Technician to join an exceptional Pharmacy team and work in a very busy department on the South coast. As a GPhC registered Technician, you will be providing an efficient and competent checking/clinical service to patients, and integrate within a well-organised and professional hospital team.
The successful Pharmacy Technician will be ACT qualified and will preferably have Ward experience, covering Medicines Management duties. The checking element of this role will be in a moderately busy hospital Dispensary (approx 3000 items/mth).
We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician who can show great attention to detail and work in a methodical and accurate manner. All candidates should have good hospital experience and a self-motivated and flexible approach.
This is a great role for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to gain valuable knowledge while working in a friendly and proactive environment.
This long term assignment is to start ASAP on a full-time basis and there is onsite accommodation if required.
All applicants should be flexible, have excellent communication skills and recent UK Hospital experience.

- BTEC or NVQ3 (or equivalent) qualification
- GPhC Registration (formerly RPSGB)
- Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification
