Pulse Staffing are currently seeking a Registered Nurse for a 12 week contract commencing as soon as possible.
Canowindra Soldiers Memorial Hospital consists of a 28 bed public hospital providing 18 Acute beds and 10 nursing home type beds and a community health centre located in the Canowindra CBD. Accommodation is provided free of charge in a cottage located adjacent to the hospital. The hospital provides 24 hours emergency care, with on call medical services provided by 2 GPs who live in Canowindra. Orange is the main referral centre and is 45 minutes by road.
Services provided include; visiting Radiographer- 2 days per week, Aged Care, Community Nursing, Day Centre Activities, Dietician, Child and Family Health Nurse, Immunisation, Podiatry, Social Worker, Speech Pathologist, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.
There are plenty of attractions in Canowindra including the beautiful country and the friendly locals, with the bonus of fine wines, great food and cafes. Canowindra is approximately 4 hours drive from Sydney, Canowindra lies in the stunning Lachlan Valley between Cowra and Orange. The valley is enclosed by sandstone mountains to the west of the old volcano of Mt Canobolas to the north-east.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
* Registered Nurses with Acute experience.
* Current registration with the Nurses and Midwives Board or ability to acquire same under the Mutual Recognition Act.
* Appropriate visa to work in Australia
