Job Description
Pulse Staffing are currently seeking a Registered Nurse with A&E experience for a 12 week contract commencing as soon as possible in outback NSW.
Lighting Ridge is a 24 bed multipurpose facility with 20 aged care beds, 4 acute beds and 4 emergency beds. 100% occupancy in aged care and 100% occupancy in Acute so there is never a dull moment. There are a wide range of cases from paediatrics to aged care. A&E varies from road accidents, the occasional mining accident and dressing changes, there are some trauma cases although all serious cases are sent to Dubbo Hospital.
Lighting Ridge located in outback NSW on the world’s richest deposit of black opals has plenty of events, festivals, arts, culture and sports. There are Horse races, Rodeos, Pistol shoots, Bowls Carnivals, Gold Tournaments and The Opal and Gem Festival. The outback mining town also boasts a range of cultural and historical tourist attractions and leisure facilities you can enjoy throughout the year.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
* Registered Nurses with Acute experience.
* Current registration with the Nurses and Midwives Board or ability to acquire same under the Mutual Recognition Act.
* Appropriate visa to work in Australia
