PULSE is delighted to be working alongside a private clinical trials unit in Central London – zone 1.

We have been enlisted to assist them with their search for a Senior Research Nurse to join their existing team.

The successful applicant can take advantage of a fully equipped, state of the art clinical trials unit. As this is a senior role, we require a nurse with approx 2 years previous experience within a clinical research unit preferably oncology research. However, we do really require a nurse with experience within oncology – so perhaps ward or outpatient oncology experience.

We are looking for applicants that have venepuncture and cannulation skills as this will be a responsibility of this role, along with giving medications and perhaps taking urine samples.

Other duties include taking and accurately recording patient data – especially recording any adverse reactions to medications given.

Nurses will have extended roles such as facilitating the recruitment and management of patients and ensuring the highest quality service at all times.

As this will be working on early stage trials, this will involve working on a shift rota basis. However, nurses are provided with their rotas well in advance.
