Job Description

Pulse International is looking for a Registered Nurse for the Accident & Emergency Department of an ultra-modern, 900-bed hospital in Riyadh.

The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission of International Accreditation (JCIA) and is a tertiary referral centre for most specialties. It’s situated just two kilometres from the centre of Riyadh and offers superb facilities for staff.

The benefits of working at the hospital include:

· Tax-free salary
· Sign-up bonus, re-location allowance and end-of-contract bonus
· Great opportunities for career development
· Free, comfortable air-conditioned accommodation on-site
· Excellent recreational facilities
· Free medical insurance and emergency dental treatment
· More than seven weeks’ annual leave
· Great opportunity to save a serious amount of money

The Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM) sees around 4,500 patients per year and provides a comprehensive emergency service on a 24 hour basis. Patients are triaged according to a 5-level triage system and receive emergency care and medical referral as necessary.

The department is able to provide rapid resuscitation, stabilisation and transfer of critically ill patients. Although not a designated trauma centre, it provides advanced trauma care to patients brought to the department and disaster care to the community in the event of any major incident.

An extended Urgent Care Centre operates almost continuously to meet the needs of less acute presentations. This allows for non-emergency presentations to be treated more expediently, freeing the core department to receive emergent cases as they present.

The department receives and assesses direct admissions to the hospital, including medivac patients en route to intensive care areas within the hospital. It caters for both adult and paediatric patients.

The successful candidate for this post will be a Registered Nurse with at least two years’ post-registration experience in a busy Accident & Emergency Department..

For more information about the post please send us an up-to-date, detailed CV and we’ll contact you directly.

We look forward to hearing from you - and please remember to attach your CV.
