Pharmacy Technician (Maternity Cover)

Role Purpose:
· The role of the Pharmacy Technician is predominately based in the dispensary and wards with a rolling block rotation through the Aseptic Unit, though the technician should be confident to work in all areas of the Pharmacy Department
· Technicians at this grade should also be confident of their ability in the training of students and new staff members on an ongoing basis.
· Technicians may be asked to provide support on any of the Hospital sites.
Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications:
· NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent, NVQ Assessor (A1) qualification
· Registered or eligible for registration with RPSGB as a technician
· Accredited final checking qualification
· CPD portfolio
· Proven track record in a similar role
