NICU Band 6 – NHS

PULSE are delighted to be working alongside an internationally recognised large NHS hospital in Central London to recruit an experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse.

We are looking for a Band 6 NICU nurse with a minimum of 2 years experience who is now wanting a new exciting challenge and wanting genuine career development.

Unit Info
· 10 cots in total on the unit
· 56 nurses in total across the unit
· 1:1 nurse to patient ratio
· Shift times are: 07:45 – 20:15 OR 19:45 – 08:15


This is a Band 6 post – in accordance with the NHS pay scales candidates will also be able to take advantage of the NHS pension and generous annual leave entitlement.

This is a busy unit treating approx 500 patients a year and as a well-renowned unit it receives patients from around the world. This NICU mostly receives surgical neonatal patients including those with severely complex patients.

This NICU is a supportive environment which is well structured with leading consultants and nurse managers within their field!
