Position: Endoscopy Nurse
Salary: £25,000 pa
Location: Bradford - Yorkshire
Duration: Fixed term contract to cover maternity leave
Hours: Full time

They operate GP practices, NHS walk-in centres and GP out-of-hours services, as well as highly innovative Clinical Assessment and Treatment Services (CATS).

Job Description:

Our client has a new opportunity for an Endoscopy Nurse to join its multi-disciplinary team, on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
Working in the treatment centre, you will be responsible for the assessment of care needs, the development of programmes of care and who will be accountable as a named nurse. You will be expected to deliver all aspects of nursing care, with supervision as necessary.

The Treatment Centre is a thriving day case unit, located in Bradford and also provides diagnostic procedures with services covering the following specialities:
Gastroenterology, orthopaedics, urology, general surgery, minor plastic surgery, gynaecology

Requirements / Knowledge / Qualifications:

As an Endoscopy Nurse you will be responsible to the Theatre Manager.

·Be NMC registered
·Have relevant experience as an Endoscopy RN
·Have knowledge of current research, key issues and development in theatre practice
·Be able to prioritise and manage workload within the department
·Have knowledge of Health and Safety/Risk Management within the operating department
