Microbiology Team Leader (Pharmaceuticals)

Job Description

This position is working for an international pharmaceutical company who specialise in the development and manufacture of pharmaceuticals for external clients.

A position has now become available for an experienced Microbiologist to join the company in a team leader appointment. The role will lead a team of 4-5 individuals but would still require hands-on laboratory work.

A suitable applicant must have:
- Previous industry experience in a supervisory or team leader function is essential.
- Experience in Microbiology including Bioburden testing, sterility testing, TVC, presence/absence testing and media preparation.
- Experience in deviation investigation, root cause analysis and trend analysis of environmental monitoring data is beneficial
- Ideally educated to degree level in Microbiology or a related discipline.

In return, my client offers a permanent position with an annual salary between £23,000-28,000 dependant upon experience.
