Job Description

Pulmonary Rehabilitation Physiotherapist Required

An international Healthcare provider is looking for a respiratory physiotherapist as team member to support a Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programme in Nottinghamshire.

Working for an international provider of respiratory healthcare services, you will immediately become a member of our growing, successful team. Within this team, you will become part of a network of clinical specialists delivering our services across the UK.

You will join the lead physiotherapist and a COPD specialist nurse to deliver the programme whilst coordinating closely with the local NHS COPD team and clinicians.

Experience in Respiratory medicine is a must and further experience in Pulmonary Rehabilitation highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be required to:
- Assess patients pre and post taking part in the Pulmonary Rehabilitation programme
- Lead pulmonary rehabilitation classes including exercise and education sessions in a group environment
- Together with the lead physiotherapist and COPD nurse be responsible for patient bookings and administration
- Use and accurately update computer and electronic patient management software
- Support and adhere to our Clinical and Information Governance policies and procedures
- Support the Lead Physiotherapist in development, integration and promotion of the service
- Support the monitoring the quality of the service, ensuring any actions are implemented in a timely manner

Required qualifications/experience
- BSc Physiotherapy
- Registered with the HPC
- Experience of working within the NHS
- Experience in Respiratory and ideally more clinical areas
- Knowledge in Pulmonary Rehabilitation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Innovative with an openness to constantly improve the programme
- High patient orientation
- Teaching and coaching skills
- Experience in recording statistical information
- This position would suit a new band 5 physiotherapist or an experienced band 5 looking to specialise.

All applicants must have professional registration and will be CRB checked.
A full UK driving licence and a car are required for this role.
