Highly Specialised Clinical Physiologist

Job Description

An enthusiastic, suitably experienced and well motivated Physiologist is required to work in a busy department. A comprehensive range of adult and paediatric neurophysiology services are provided including routine and sleep EEGs, all modalities of evoked potentials and EMG and nerve conduction studies including Physiologist-lead upper and lower limb clinics. Extended physiologist roles are offered with reporting of normal EEGs and Physiologist-led NCS (normal and abnormal) using approved departmental guidelines.

Applicants should as a minimum possess ECNE Part I and BSc Hons in Clinical Physiology (Neurophysiology) or equivalent and preferably ECNE part II and be working towards an MSc or equivalent.

Experience with the above neurophysiology procedures and a wide range of patient groups including children is desirable, and the ability to work as a member of a small team is essential. The post-holder will be expected to take a lead role in Clinical Governance duties.
