Job Description

Based in Greater Manchester, we have a vacancy for an experienced and motivated Cardiac Physiologist to join our busy and friendly multi-disciplinary team in the CRI Unit.
Our team is multi-skilled and we perform a range of Cardiac and Respiratory diagnostics including Echos, TOE’s, Pacemaker Implants and follow-up, cardiac Event analysis, ambulatory BP monitoring, 24 hr cardiac monitoring and analysis, ECG’s, Exercise Tests and specialised Lung Function Studies.
This key position requires specialist knowledge and experience to a high level; Echo skills are essential to the post and Pacemaker Implant and follow-up experience would be an advantage. The role will include training and supervision of other staff.
We are looking forward to the future with confidence, with new service developments such as loop recorders, ICD implants and follow-up, Bi-vent pacing and a permanent Stress Echo service.
If you are a strong team player with developed interpersonal and organisational skills, someone with a positive and flexible approach you could be just the person we are looking for. You should hold a relevant degree or demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience, be RCCP registered and ILS qualified. BSE is desirable. Personal development is actively encouraged.
