Title Registered Ward Nurse
Band: Band 5 Full Time
Location: Plymouth

My client is an independent sector healthcare company with a first class record of high quality patient care, excellent clinical outcomes, innovation and efficiency.

They work with its local NHS partners to offer NHS patients high-quality, rapid access to planned treatments across a range of specialties at their five treatment centres in the South West.

They employ over 400 clinicians and support staff at all of its locations in the South West and has treated over 45,000 NHS patients to date.

Position
We are looking for Registered Ward Nurses ideally with orthopaedic experience to join our friendly team in Plymouth. You will be expected to work a variety of shift patterns including weekends and nights, on a 37.5 hours a week contract

Physical requirements
Satisfactory Occupational Health clearance for the role specified.
Have a satisfactory CRB Clearance
Good attendance record.

Education and qualifications
Qualified Registered Nurse
Relevant post registration education
ILS (or willing to undertake)

Previous experience
2 years post registration experience
Minimum of 1 years recent experience in a surgical ward, preferably across different specialties’

Skills, knowledge and abilities
Evidence of ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to plan and prioritise own and others workload when under pressure.
Ability to manage change effectively.
Ability to lead a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Computer literate
Good understanding of infection control
