Perioperative Practitioner Scrub - RGN or ODP
Hourly rate negotiable depending on experience
1 day per week - Saturday

PULSE are currently working with a very well established group of Private Clinics in Hampshire, who specialise in the provision of Sexual Health Services. Due to demand, they are seeking two experienced and qualified Perioperative Practitioners.

The overall objective is to work collaboratively with other professionals, improving the quality of care given to Patients. You will be responsible for the preparation and management of Anaesthetic rooms and you will also assist with the running of operating lists.

The successful candidate will offer the following:

· Be proficient with all aspects of nursing
· Assess Patient’s health and well being across a complex and changing caseload
· Clinical experience within a fast paced environment
· Surgical experience advantageous
· Plan, delivery and evaluate care to meet specific needs
· Strong communication skills
· To work autonomously and within a multi disciplinary team
· Contribute to quality improvement
· Be flexible and reliable
· Support the team leaders with any ad-hoc duties.

The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse or HPC registered ODP, preferably with 2/3 years experience of theatre scrub work. Candidates must have the ability to work in a team environment, with little supervision. Eligibility to work in the UK is required as well as current nmc pin.
