Senior Cardiac Physiologist
To work as part of the cardio-respiratory team providing a high quality service in all aspects of cardio-respiratory measurement throughout the Trust. The post will require rotation through all basic cardiac procedures. The post will have specialist responsibility for managing exercise tests, tilt tests, event recording and reporting direct access ECGs. In addition the post holder will be continuing highly specialised training in pacemaker follow-up and/or echocardiography.
You must have the ability to work as part of a team and a multidisciplinary team.
You should have experience in the management of ETTs and Routine non-invasive technical cardiology procedures and Diagnostic cardiac catheterisation

Further duties:
Have, and maintain a broad knowledge of exercise physiology and evidence based practice.
Provide detailed reports for own patients and assist junior members of staff in the writing reports.
Ensure that referring clinicians are made aware of any prognostically unfavourable results as soon as possible.
Ensure that the equipment is maintained to the highest standards. This will include the requirement to log and ensure that all faults are reported to the service lead.
Participate in audit and quality control for the service.

Essential:
BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
ILS certificate
RCCP registered
