PULSE Staffing has an opportunity available in Lancashire for a Band 4/5 Clinical Trials/Aseptics Pharmacy Technician
This is a great chance for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join an exceptional Pharmacy team and work in a highly competitive area of the North West. As a GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician, you will be providing an efficient and competent Aseptics service to patients, and integrate within a well-organised and professional hospital team.
The successful Pharmacy Technician will be aseptically trained and be proficient in chemo preparation. You will be required to accurately prepare and assist in the preparation of oncology medicines to be administered intravenously to patients, ensuring the correct dosage is provided, free from contamination.
We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician who can show great attention to detail and work in a methodical and accurate manner. All candidates should have good hospital experience and a self-motivated and flexible approach.
As well as preparing chemotherapy medicines, you will be carrying out Clinical Trial duties including ordering, checking deliveries, maintaining trial files and patient trial records. The ideal candidate must be aseptic trained with some clinical trials experience and preferably already have Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training.
This is a long-term assignment, available immediately. Excellent rates payable.
