My client is an established manufacturer of Molecular Diagnostics to the healthcare market and they are looking expand their UK team by introducing a Distributor Manager to take responsibility to drive sales growth in Europe.

Working from a home office in the UK, the position will involve the formalization of existing distributor supplier relationships and identification and negotiation with new niche suppliers. This will involve, visiting; and regularly contacting distributors - initially focusing of established channels within France & Germany. Joint visits will be a requirement in order to assist the sales as well as providing any technical support needed by either the distributor. This position is a key decision maker role, expected to negotiate effectively with both senior management, and distributor principals.

The successful candidate will come from a biomedical/immunology related background, and have experience, or a strong technical knowledge in molecular diagnostics, sales and distributor management. The candidate will be based in the UK; must have a valid driving license and will speak French and/or German (preferably both!). You will live in relatively close proximity to an International airport (with regular flights to France & Germany) as there is a significant travel requirement associated with this position.
