Up to £27,000 depending on experience

PULSE are working with a client who provide a service to Women, who suffer mental illness, personality disorder and / or learning difficulties. They are currently seeking RMN's or RNLD'S.

The overall objective is to manage the nursing care for a defined caseload of clients and to maintain high standards to nursing care.

The hospital provides medium secure level assessment and therapeutic programmes for men and women with mental health problems with challenging and complex needs, who are detained under the Mental Health Act 1983. An active rehabilitation service is provided.

There are extensive educational, occupational and sporting facilities, along with various communal recreation areas. The home caters for those with personality or learning disabilities, challenging behaviours or forensic history.

Brief overview of duties include:


Demonstrate quality clinical practice
Develop and maintain interpersonal relationships with team members

Participate in unit projects, audits and quality initiatives
Infection control

The selected candidate will be a registered RMN OR RNLD and have current first level registration with NMC. You will be articulate and knowledgeable about health care issues, especially in a neurobehavioral environment. Ability to work a flexible working pattern including weekends is essential.
