Emergency Department Consultants for Tasmanian Hospital

We are recruiting for a large hospital based in Tasmania who is currently looking for a consultant for their busy Emergency Department. As the position is full-time and ongoing you must be prepared to relocate to Tasmania.

Regarded by some as Australia’s food lovers capital, Tasmania is an amazing place to live with it’s laid back lifestyle and social atmosphere. Just an hours flight from Melbourne and 2 hours from Sydney it is easy to see Australia through the country’s impressive domestic carriers.

Requirements:-
To be considered for this role you must be eligible for Fellowship with the Australian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or already hold you fellowship. This hospital does hold Area of Need status so it is possible that a UK Fellow can be considered.

Also available are numerous locum positions in the ED department ranging from weekend cover to 6-12 month stints. Locum rates are around $2000 a day.
