Job Description
Pulse International is looking for a Consultant Haematologist for the Cancer Unit of an 894-bed, internationally accredited, tertiary-care hospital in Riyadh.
The Haematology Department has a 15-bed Leukaemia Unit, 5-bed intermediate intensive care unit, 15-bed bone-marrow transplant unit and Outpatient Clinics.
The Unit is responsible for the investigation and management of adult patients with a variety of haematological malignancies (mostly acute and chronic leukaemias, myelodysplastic syndromes, multiple myeloma), as well as several non-malignant haematological disorders.
There’s an extensive hematopoietic stem cell transplantation program, with a focus on allogeneic stem cell transplantation. 60 to 65 stem cell transplantations are performed annually, and the unit follows stem cell transplantation patients at a specialized bone marrow transplant clinic within the hospital.
The successful candidate will have CCST / American Board / Fachartz / equivalent western qualification with at least three years post-board experience.
