Job Description

Pulse International is looking for a Consultant Neurosurgeon for a 350-bed, teaching hospital in Dunedin, in the South Island of New Zealand.

The hospital has eight main theatres, two day surgery units and an obstetrics theatre. The hospital has a close relationship with the Otago Medical School which offers access to research and support facilities with the possibility of a Clinical Senior Lecturer post.

Dunedin is a great place to live and work and there’s something here for all the family - not to mention the fantastic sporting opportunities right on the doorstep.

We are looking for someone who has an enthusiasm for teaching, a commitment to quality service delivery and who is able to work effectively as a senior clinician in a multi-disciplinary team.

Candidates should be eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
