Locum A&E Consultant - South Island

Job Description

Pulse International is looking for a locum Consultant in Emergency Medicine, to cover maternity and sabbatical leave, for a 350-bed, teaching hospital in Dunedin, in the South Island of New Zealand.

The post will start in November and will be for up to one year.

The hospital has eight main theatres, two day surgery units and an obstetrics theatre. The hospital has a close relationship with the Otago Medical School which offers access to research and support facilities.

Dunedin is a great place to live and work and there’s something here for all the family - not to mention the fantastic sporting opportunities right on the doorstep.

Candidates should be eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
