Pulse International is looking for a Consultant Geriatrician for an ultra-modern, state-of-the-art hospital in the South Island of New Zealand.

The successful candidate will join a team of two Geriatricians, two SHOs, 40 nurses and nine AHPs. There’s a thirty-bed inpatient unit incorporating assessment, treatment and rehabilitation. The therapy units (including gymnasium and hydrotherapy pool) are located alongside the main unit. The post involves inpatient and outpatient care and community visits.

The South Island is a wonderful place to live and work. The hospital is located in a delightful, family friendly city and on the doorstep there is every kind of recreational activity - watersports, skiing, climbing, walking, fishing - in fact there’s something here for everyone in the family.

Candidates should have completed their specialist training and be eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. An attractive salary and benefits package are offered including relocation assistance and CME allowance.
