Description
PULSE Scientific are pleased to be representing a leading agricultural company that has a site in the north Essex area. Due to increased demand for their services, they now have a requirement for a temporary DNA technician to join their busy and diverse team.
The main function of this role is to perform DNA analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Growing up large numbers of plant seedlings
· Extracting DNA from a large number of samples using standard protocols
· Preparation of analysis materials
· Screening large numbers of DNA samples using electrophoresis
EDUCATION, BACKGROUND & SKILLS
· Bachelors degree in a relevant subject
· All training will be provided so no experience needed in any of these areas
