This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding biotechnology
Commutable from Reading, Oxfordshire, NW London
As a Fermentation Scientist you will be responsible for assisting a small team in examining the application of bacterial fermentation in scientific research.
Suitable applicants must have experience with:
- Bacterial fermentation within scientific industry
- Cell culture, growth and analysis
- Running and developing the fermentation process to laboratory scale (5 litres)
- Maintenance of cell bank and cell-lines
Additional desirable skills include:
- BSc (or equivalent) in a related scientific discipline
- Experience working with asceptic techniques
- Experience with seed culture and technology transfer
This is a research position within a biotechnology company so individuals with experience only in Environmental or QC microbiology would not be suitable.
