Description
PULSE Scientific are pleased to be representing a leading pharmaceutical company that has a site in the Leeds area. Due to increased demand for their services, they now have a requirement for a Development Analyst to join their busy and diverse team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
·To develop analytical methods that will adequately determine the necessary product characteristics that will eventually be required to release finished product and to monitor the storage stability of new products.
·To review existing products, processes, and analytical methods, recommending improvements as new techniques become available.
·To play an active role in the matrix management system, including project management when appropriate/required.
·To produce specifications for new raw materials and new products.
·To perform the necessary work required to validate all the above methods.
·To produce validation reports, methods of analysis, and other reports in a format that can be utilised by other departments.
EDUCATION, BACKGROUND & SKILLS
·First degree in chemistry based science
·Experience using HPLC, GC and LC-MS is essential
