Band 5 Dietitian Required
Frontline Staffing has an opportunity available in the North of England for a Band 5Occupational Therapist to work in an Orthopaedic setting
The job description is as follows. Under the direction and guidance of senior dietitians:
Provide a high quality, effective dietetic service to wards and Outpatient Clinics and Outpatients at a range of community locations (usually within community hospitals)
To act as a source of expertise, in the management of the nutritional wellbeing of clients presenting with acute and chronic disease status.
Educate and train other (after six months) other Health Care Professionals, in all aspects of general dietetics.
To be involved in the production of protocols, procedures and evidence based literature, in general dietetics.
Answer telephone questions from staff and patients within professional expertise, or refer on to senior staff as required.
Cover for senior staff, which will include providing telephone advice to home enteral feeding patients and arranging discharge of patients from community hospitals on enteral feeding, once skills developed in this area.
