Description
My client is an Oxfordshire based Biotechnology company which specializes in the discovery and development of new medicines for chronic diseases.
A position has now become available for a Downstream Processing Scientist to join the company on a permanent basis.
The primary function of this role will be to provide downstream process development for a range of therapeutic proteins. Utilising experience in protein expression, purification and characterization to design and implement downstream processes while providing technical support for existing routes.
Suitable applicants must have:
-Practical experience of Downstream Process Development within a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company
-Experience with the expression, purification and characterisation of therapeutic proteins
-Good Laboratory Practice awareness and maintain a high standard of scientific work
-Minimum of BSc (or equivalent) in a relevant Biological discipline
In return my client offers a permanent position within a growing company with an annual salary of c£25,000
