Description
Our client is dedicated to psychiatric rehabilitation and works in close partnership with the National Health Service, providing a step down service for NHS patients detained in secure facilities or acute mental hospitals.
Our client is currently looking to recruit a Staff Grade Psychiatrist to join their Multi-disciplinary Team. The successful candidate will work with the Consultant and the Team to provide excellent services to adults with a primary diagnosis of mental illness. Your main responsibilities will be to undertake clinical audits, contribute to Clinical Governance meetings and to work within the Active Care Programme.
The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and code of practise, have the ability to interview, asses, treat patients and write clear comprehensive medical notes. You must be decisive, have a flexible approach and be confident in your abilities.
All candidates must have a full General Medical Council registration, have a membership for the Royal College of Psychiatrists and recognition under section 12 of the Mental Health Act.
