Description
PULSE Scientific is currently recruiting for a Wiltshire based company who is currently looking for an R&D Scientist to join the team.
As an R&D Scientist you will be required to assist the Head of Microbiology R&D in designing and carrying out complex experiments with pathogens, phages and food samples to assist with the development of their diagnostic technology. You will be involved in establishing QC protocols, optimising lab scale production protocols and planning shelf life studies.
Candidates should be educated to a minimum of BSc level (or equivalent) in a microbiological discipline with hands on experience of working in a food microbiology laboratory. Candidates who have previous working experience with pathogens including E.Coli, Listeria and Salmonella will be favoured. Previous experience of working in an ISO/UKAS accredited lab with experience of assay development is highly desirable. Candidates should be familiar with GLP.
