Description
We are currently recruiting pro-active support workers in Surrey/Croydon to support adults & elderly with learning, physical disabilities and challenging behavior. Your aim is to promote independent living.
We are recruiting full-time and part - time workers who live in and around Surrey/Croydon.
REQUIRMENTS:
vmust have NVQ level 2 in Health and Social care or working towards it
vMandatory training qualifications (certificates) - Health & safety, Fire safety, first aid, infection
control, Basic life support, medication awareness.
vExperience working in a support housing settings
vMust have an understanding of care plans, one - to - one sessions and key working
vTo support and encourage service users to become independent
vBe able to work alone without being supervised
vPersonal care
vEscort clients to appointments, day centre's, outings, etc
vRecord information about client and ensure effective communication with all staff members
vAttend mandatory training days/courses, on or off site, as and when required
vMust be flexible and willing to travel
RATES: ?8.30 p.h
