Director: Health Information Management for Abu Dhabi - and what a great place to live, work, play and raise a family!
Pulse International is looking for a Director of Health Information Management for a 500 bed hospital in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
This is a very busy, tertiary hospital, seeing, on average 1,000 outpatients and performing 500 operations per month. Situated 35 Km from the city of Abu Dhabi the hospital serves as a general hospital for the city of Abu Dhabi and as a referral center for certain clinic specialties for the whole of the UAE.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer the successful candidate will lead the Health Information Department.
A Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field is required and an advanced degree would be an advantage. RHIT or RHIA is required as is at least 10 years' experience in senior management and experience in a supervisory role in medical center health care environment. Extensive knowledge of and experience in HIM services is required and strong leadership skills are necessary.
