Description
Pulse International is looking for a Manager of Public Health and Research for the Health Authority of one of the United Arab Emirates.
Reporting to the Director of Public Health and Policy the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest attainable standards of Public Health and Research. He/she will constantly review and refine public health priorities based on local health system data and international benchmarks and will represent the Health Authority at key public health and research stakeholder meetings and events.
A degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Public Health or Natural Sciences is required and also an MSc, PhD or mPH. You should have experience in regulating public health/prevention and medical/clinical research activities and of application for and management of research funding. You should have had management experience at a reputable institute of public health or medical research. Excellent English and Arabic are required.
