Description
My client specialises in the development, manufacturing and marketing of advanced analytical instrumentation. This instrumentation is used in many industries, for the characterization of a wide variety of materials.
A Senior Development Scientist role has become available to provide scientific contribution to the design of instrumentation. You will be required to utilise you experience in the areas of Physics, Chemistry, Engineering and Mathematics to contribute to the design of the expanding instrument range.
In addition, you will be required to undertake occasional project management including the leadership of the project team and the direction of the instrument design. All work will be carried out following ISO9000 Standards.
Suitable applicants will be educated to a minimum of BSc level in a Physics, Chemistry or mathematical discipline and will have industry experience in the development of scientific instrumentation and the management of development projects.
Knowledge of Spectroscopy, laser technology and computer modelling (MATLAB, C programmes are beneficial.
