Description
My Client is recruiting for a Locality Based Drug and Alcohol Worker to care co-ordinate and advocate on behalf of vulnerable young people who are at risk of becoming involved in substance use or experiencing harm from using substances. You will develop the service and liaise with key stakeholders. Your main tasks will involve assessment, promoting harm reduction, care planning with young people and families along with partnership work and networking. The role will involve working in the community in a specific locality in Kirklees.
You must have a genuine interest in supporting young people along with considerable experience of working with young people in an educational and/or healthcare setting and of working with young people and their families. You should also have experience of liaising and consultation with other agencies and professionals.
