DIRECTOR OF NURSING WITH A DIFFERENC E - at the Aswan Heart Centre, EGYPT
Share the vision, live the dream and work to develop a Cardiac Centre of Clinical Excellence at Aswan in Egypt, set up by Professor Sir Magdi Yacoub.
Revered throughout the world for his pioneering work in Cardiac Surgery Sir Magdi has founded QAL (Qatar, Aswan,London,) a London based charity. The objective of the charity is to deliver state of the art clinical services and to develop a local generation of professionals specializing in cardiology who will not only serve the local population but also contribute to global science and knowledge.
Pulse International is now looking for a Western trained Director of Nursing for the Aswan Heart Centre, a role critical to the success of the Aswan project.

The successful candidate – who needs to have a pioneering spirit and be ‘hands on’ in the early stages - will be educated and experienced to Director of Nursing level and ideally will have had experience working abroad, perhaps in the Middle East. While we are primarily looking for the ability to lead, educate and motivate a diverse, multi-national team, clearly an understanding of cardiac procedures would be an advantage.
